Well she won't let me cut the top off the jeep but yet she will be ok with a wrangler I dont get it do in order to get the no top thing its going to have to be a wrangler

I wouldn't like the wheel base lol, to short for my liking. but to each there own. If it would make you happier then your xj do it, but I have a feeling you wont like it off camber, I cringe watching a buddy wheel his TJ with F+R long arm and 35's, just looks like it always wants to flip lol

make sure your free puncture replacement covers sidewall damage(a lot don't) then it would be worth it. they are a great tire handle great in many conditions but the sidewalls just suck like all the other BFG's.

I like my kevlar MTR's quite a bit, I had the hankook mt's they had good grip but they were piles of $hit, they dry rotted in between the tread in a year and never ballanced out right, always rode like they were out of round, my .02
