Seems one more possible Moab related problem is showing up. The Powertrax is a lot noisier than it used to be. Once in a while when I throw it in reverse (before even moving) it makes a horrific noise (clicking & popping). It will also click pretty loud here and there when backing up. I'm also hearing a repeated thump, thump thump while turning that wasnt there before. The lash when going from park to reverse or drive is also a lot more harsh than it was before. I've searched and searched and all I can find is similar symptoms due to improper install, since its been installed a while and performed like mad in Moab I rule that out. Any ideas, maybe I bent the housing or carrier maybe? I just thought I'd ask as my locker knowledge is limited and am wondering my best course of action. I also have proven I'm not good at getting the C-clips out of the locker (after my origional install fail and attempt to remove it I got pissed off and paid 4WP to reinstall it) so I'm really not looking forward to trying to take it back out for inspection.
Any advice from those who know more about lockers than I, would be appreciated.

Happy halloween!
Sorry to hear about the noise/pop Jeff, I don't have any ideas as I Don't know what the internals are like on that locker.
Excited my last trip for the year is coming up. Need to just let the jeep recover and fix a few things...

I love both options... lol, but I think I am going to hold off until I have a tow rig, or second vehicle. I want to build a rear bumper with tire carrier like the detours but as high and out of the way as possible to limit draging. :/
