Headed out to go to work this AM, stuck the key in the ignition, turned it, Whir, whiiir, whiiiiiir, click, click, damn, must be Monday. Jumped it, got it to work and tested the battery, 12.2 volts, 110 cranking amps, replace battery. I had noticed it slowly taking longer to start lately, but damn!
Picked up a new battery today and she fires right up just like she used to.
Money I would have rather not spent right now, but I thanked the XJ for having the courtesy to have her battery go south at home and not out on the trail, Lol!

Ya buddy moab parts stores are PRICEY!

Got my 136amp alt. holding at 14.5, & jb welded the nut on the smaller pully to hopefully give it that little extra at our style speeds!

Ya the shaft was just a little short... I could get it tight, but couldn't really wrench down on it! Thus a good glob on jb will make sure she doesn't go anywhere! Haha
