that's my buddy vince's jeep, he shipped it over from britain to have clayton set it up. it's a flexy thing but way to soft on the trail for me. when we did the rubicon he almost rolled on the slabs because of how soft it was.

if you want to check it out that jeep will be at my house in november waiting to be stripped

we are stripping it because he and his wife just moved to Switzerland and they're jeeps arn't allowed there(she has a built TJ) Switzerland doesn't allow modified vehicles. so he was gonna ship it here and leave it except it will never meet US standards to be legal here. so he is buying a US XJ and we are gonna swap all the parts from his UK XJ to the US one then send the now stock UK one to the scrapper so that US customs will be happy.

basically it comes down to the fact that there is no way we can make his XJ US legal, and he can't have it at his home in Switzerland so we are making him a sweet US XJ. and we have 6 months to find an XJ and get it built and the UK one off to the scrapper or US customs will not be happy.

oh and his front flexes just as good http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthrea...hlight=rubicon

it's a major shame it has to be scrapped, but thats how the US works with importing vehicles. and unfortunatly it has to goto the scrapper complete, the only thing that customs don't know is that it's built. they have the pics from when it was stock on record.

i'll talk to him about swapping hoods, a little pealing paint shouldn't upset US customs.
