Anyway, i am willing to learn so I can do little things to get this Cherokee back on the road .... and maybe back on the off road.

I started by a basic tune up.... Easy maybe but until 2 weeks ago I had never touched an engine.... (I left the fuel filter change for later though).

Now I am working on fixing a bit of the electrical. I guess I need to change the neg cable of the battery (because it looks like the wires are exposed and from what i read, it could be responsible for bad ground and maybe some of the things that are not working well).
Trying also to fight some seized bolts to remove some skid plates to better access etc...

When time come, brakes and maybe try to get the wondows to work

Anyway, i am not going to tell you my life either lol....

I can take any advice that is free and will definitely need a lot of help.

So cheers Northern Utah People, hopefully one of these day, i will see you on one of our beautiful trail....
Welcome to the thread. Not to worry Jeeps have been turning regular folks into mechanics for years. You can find answers to most your questions just by doing a search in the forum.

welcome steph74, glad to see some new faces on here.

for on those bolts that wont come out here's a few ideas, the first is a product called PB blaster ( its a penetrating spray) and spray those pretty good and repeating and if that doesn't work id heat them up with a torch and then trying to remove them

well I take it you have not seen my face yet then
Thanks for the welcome....
i am still browsing the forum to look for answers that are already there lol....
Now if I was in my country (France, sorry for the haters ) I would just say " Hey, come over and look at my jeep and tell me what I need to do and how and I will buy you a beer...." Not sure it would work here in Utah

Yes, some of us here in Utah will work for beer! I've done my fair share of jobs with a sudsy payment! I'm afraid your a little too far away for me to offer my services outside of any advice I can give here though but should any advice i give be worth a crap (long shot), your more than welcome to mail me a beer!
