My wife had one of those almost come up to her this week at work. Then a little dog right next to it. She said it reminded her of the movie The Fox and the Hound.

ha ha it's part of the old outlaw trail through the uintas. it goes from wolfcreek pass to tabiona all 50" or less ATV trail.
where near strawberry is indian land? i've been all over that area many times and never ran into any indian land. a few canyons and creeks called indian but thats it. and since you said you could almost see hwy 6 i'm assuming white mountain area?
i know there used to be a reservation there but it was taken away to build strawberry res.

i'm sure it can if you connect a few dirt rds. this is the type one ohv trail that just goes from the pass itself(not just the rd) weaves through the quakies then drops into tabiona.
red creek is more north. unless we're thinking of different red creeks lol

here's a crappy picture off google earth... just east of the duchesne county line. if you know where the strawberry pinnacles are i'm just south of them in avintaquin canyon which is mostly indian land with one land owner rancher. there was a small fire freshly started in the bottom right of that picture. bunch of planes flyin over dumpin some wah wah on it.. smelt like a barbeque all day...
that outlaw trail is pretty big. it's north of vernal. a coworker brags about how his razr can go but my jeep can't
