I'm liking the look of that design Mike, but I was thinking of maybe incorporating a second ring to beef it up and protect the fasteners as well.

Hey guys, I posted this up on Utah4x4club, but wanted to invite you guys too!
So our buddy Dylan is getting married the third week of August, for a bachelor party we decided to head down to little Moab the night of August 6th. I think we will be arriving between 4 and 6 that night, but you are welcome to show up whenever you like! We will be doing some wheeling, having a BBQ, we are bring a couple of barbeque's so just bring some meat, some drinks, and something to share if you'd like.
We will be spending the night and doing some more wheeling Saturday. Possibly heading over to run Rattlesnake / Constrictor Saturday but still undetermined. It would depend on the interest.
Pretty much just a group of people having a good time. Hopefully a lot of you guys can make it.
Post up if you can make it out!
Going to be a good time and YES, I'll have the XJ there!

ya ill probably end up doing more to them after i test them i might just fill it in and make it a solid diff cover but that would take a lot of time. im just really worried about bashing the cover into the ring which this will stop from doing

something like addicted to rock crawling.... i think. but its going to be fun next two memberships are free and for anyone else its like $15 a month but the way tom has it set up the fees are actually going to be saved up and for anyone who is having a hard time with money and cant make a run just for that reason the can use the funds to be able to afford it. I am hoping we can talk to the forest service down at AF and see if theirs a way we can be the primary off road club to take care of the trails up there do volunteer work or what ever they would like us to do.

I like the idea of putting fees towards helping others go and experience the fun of our sport as well as getting involved in some trail preservation. As soon as I get through the next couple months (high school and Jeep registration) I'll likely join up.
