Anyone interested in the damage? That hit at the end bent the bejezus out of the clamp. While trying to hammer it back into place, it broke indefinitely. Now a strap holds it in place. I think it is time to get serious on a low profile solution to holding that thing.
Also had a hub stop working properly as soon as we got out there. Vernal was bad luck on my Jeep. Or maybe it was Nathan....hahahahaha

We got Shakeandbake's tires on yesterday. I'm only posting the pic with my Jeep cause he told me I better not, ha ha!
Truth be told, I'm a little jealous of how far he's built it in just 8 months.

I personally haven't, but by the time you buy the master install kit you've paid more than half of the cost of a 29spline drum to drum! I mean if you have all the internals, & a 27 spine housing sitting around by all means tinker with it, but if the jeeps gonna be down I'd just buy the full axle to swap in.

I wouldn't. You will have to check but you could swap axles then brake shoes(I thought they where the same shoes), which is a lot easier then setting up an axle IMO.

you could pop the shafts out and swap backing plate and drums which will make the other brakes work... but thats a lot of work when brake shoes are 30$... and your get the bigger brakes.
If you feel the need to strip it down and change it out I would recommend going with a JY rear disk swap... just my opinion.
