Changing the pitman arm will normally only be needed if you have a problem with bumpsteer/steering geometry. Did you change or move the trackbar? Loud clicks when turning tends to be the track bar moving. You can horse the bolts down tighter and get rid of that.

I wouldn't worry about it until its at least bad or binding... either way it will be single shear and have about the same amount of movement. just my 2 cents.

Well, I wiped out my new Durango box... IDK if its the steering binding with flex, or the locker binding the steering or what... but its time to get the stress off the box. Ordered my hydraulic assist steering stuff today. Excited to get it!
I went with a 1.5"X8" ram. the 1.5" should give me a little faster response for street driving while still being good off-road. Ordered the Trail-Gear Rock assault kit threw Low Range Off-road. (discount threw my work
)

I have also noticed I have a harder time turning on the street and off-road at idle or close to idle... SO I am also installing a smaller pulley to boost idle pressure/volume which should cure that as well.

Also just a FYI Grainger no longer stocks the 7/16's rod ends... I guess the discontinued them. I go the lady on the phone to contact someone and source them for me. although the didn't know if they would ever replace them or not... waiting on those any day now to fix my shifting issues... (not being able to get back into 2H after going into 4H ect...
