All I can say is that I wish I could total up the Cash I've spent on my XJ and when I sell it list it for the total of the receipts ...lol...I don't have an E-brake either , But I'll be addresing that when I dump the coin on an Atlas , And I always fear the brakes going on a steep trail and just sailing off the mountain .

Looking to sell my TJ that I've had for about 10 years. Now at 72K miles, only put about 30K on it during those 10 years. Mechanically sound, runs great and strong. Has the 4.0 liter engine, with a new radiator and battery. Following is a long list of other add ons which themselves plus install are at least the price being asked. Not interested in any trades, will entertain offers near my asking price, but this is a great Jeep for the price!

If you are familiar with Colorado and Moab trails, this will give you a sense of what it will do, and it has NEVER broke down. It's done each of these without winch assist. Body is in great shape, never rolled it over. But I've been close a few times! You would be amazed how stretched out it can get on a ramp!

Colorado - Independence (the entire thing except Patriot after the waterfall), Holy Cross, Wheeler Lake, Spring Creek and many others

I think the TJ owner has the most ridiculous asking price and trail claims of only winching the exit from patriot and NEVER breaking ...he listed Holy Cross as one of his kills , and I've never seen a 93 inch wheelbase TJ YJ with 6 inch lift take cleveland rock without winch assistance ...lol...they try like hell ,but always end up on the hook .

You got to realize TJ's are not cheap. They hold there value and have a bigger market than XJ's. I personally think the TJ will sell before the ZJ over the XJ becuase the XJ will never sell lol!!!

I'd just pay money to see him complete Cleveland rock in a 93 wheelbase bolt on short arm TJ as claimed with no winch...And older TJ's are not super cheap ,but they are not super expesive I can pick up a 97 TJ for 5k , and then his list of bolt ons and other stuff just does not get you what you paid for them on resale...I bought my XJ for 8k with 16 k in receipts by previous owner then pulled off about 3k of that stuff and spent at total of just over 20k on my XJ since buying it september 2010 I have all recepits in parts and labor ...my XJ is a 99 with less than 100k on it , and is far better vuilt than that TJ , and I'd only expect to get 10k for it , and it can run over the TJ ...lol...But there is an AZZZ for every seat , and if he gets 15k for his rig I'll pay him to sell my rig...lol

Wranglers are worth more than XJ's in stock trim , But this is a 97 TJ , and while it has a value higher than a 97 XJ it is still cheap to pick up stock , and resale value would be the best stock because offroad mods usually limit the sale to those looking for offroad toys , and at 15k for a 15 year old run of the mill 97 TJ his crowd would be that looking for a built Jeep , and trust me Bolt on RE short arms and a stock d30/44 combo with lockers is not nearly 15k worth of built on a 15 year old TJ ...15 on a jeep this old is usually sporting long arms and built 1-tons ...this has nothing on it worth 15k .
