Some months ago I sold my 90 XJ. I might be getting it back. Free even, but likely dead. Or needing a rear axle (pinion growling). A friend has a 350 Chevy I can have cheap, with a core 2WD 700R4. Two ideas come to mind, both with the 350! One, desert toy. No racing. The other, more street oriented. Maybe even, track oriented.
my odd thinking is, I have a Chryco 8.25 with 4.10s. Should handle the power for either application. 4.10s might not be fun for the highway with street rubber though. Just some mental bench racing.
Anyone need a 1994 Ford Explorer shell? We stripped ours and it is now masquerading as a 1990 Ranger. No axles...
