Anyone have a 2WD front axle they want to give away? I would even take one without knuckles and brakes... or missing parts.

I don't see how people weld for a living. These rims are even too much for me.

If you have the peugot, I don't think you can. My AX15 is internally slaved, you have to change out the belhousing on the ax.

You may, whether I answer is a better question.

Some months ago I sold my 90 XJ. I might be getting it back. Free even, but likely dead. Or needing a rear axle (pinion growling). A friend has a 350 Chevy I can have cheap, with a core 2WD 700R4. Two ideas come to mind, both with the 350! One, desert toy. No racing. The other, more street oriented. Maybe even, track oriented. my odd thinking is, I have a Chryco 8.25 with 4.10s. Should handle the power for either application. 4.10s might not be fun for the highway with street rubber though. Just some mental bench racing.

Anyone need a 1994 Ford Explorer shell? We stripped ours and it is now masquerading as a 1990 Ranger. No axles...

I thought the ax15 was the external slave which people sell over priced. Peugot and ax5 where the internal bellhousing slave.

The earliest AX15 trans in 89 and 90 cherokees and wranglers are internally slaved. After that they put it outside

I'd have to agree. Not bashing on ya devin. Just some preprep grinding on both the rings, & wheels will make a Hugh difference in its self.
