Yeah, its the output seal for the yoke. Its a RR / omix variant. Can't remember the actual box, which is usually the only difference. The seal was already installed and worked for a while before it started leaking. I used to commute to SF every day so i put some miles on it.
Yes mine leaks from the seal too there is a replacement seal that you buy at orielys so like 10 bucks and is a better seal more and hugs the shaft better almost like.........

Yeah i oredered the replacement seal, but heard it'll leak again. What was the pn you found at O'Reillys. So you can just pip it out without opening it up.
Yup amc 20 or dana 35 pinion seal. I had to replace my pinion nut as that one got destroyed when taking off the yoke.
Napa # nos 18472. I'll probably upgrade this seal as well when it gets worse. But I did notice something while I was waiting for my new yoke I used another input yoke from a tcase and the seal was a lot tighter on that yoke compared to the RR one.

I've had to get my tom woods driveshaft rebuilt twice. Angles are good they just require a lot of grease and I used to put a lot if miles on the old gal. Can't complain too much about the original seal for this reason.

That would be nice, in time I'll get another though. In the mean time I have a new to me '06 ford fusion that gets me around. Still getting used to not being able to pop curbs and not worrying about scratched paint
