Have any of you tried the DIY bumper kits that they sell? Is there any cost benefit to those? And who makes those kits?

Trex on here has a rear one that he need to weld up i think. Only company Ive seen are the JCR ones, I was thinking about that, but then I realized If im gonna weld something together it should be my own design. Plus for the cost of one of those I got enough metal to do both bumpers, 2x6 rocker replacments and start on a bellypan

I think jcr is the only one that makes them, they are pretty nice kits from what I've seen. I think the difference in price is like around maybe 100 bucks, look on youtube I think it welding tricks and tips he does one for his wrangler, you'll kinda get the idea of it and what's involved.

Those jcr kits are nice and it seems easy. I wish I was a good enough welder to do that kinda thing.
