Sup everyone I have a question since this post gets a lot of traffic. What would make the belt slip out of place? I have a 99 XJ with the 4.0 and about 1 month and a half ago i went to go up a semi steep little hill ( which I done it before just fine) but this time I gave it a bit more gas to go up faster and the belt came off, wrapped around the clutch fan and hit the radiator causing a small hole in it. So I was wondering could the belt have been on too tight?

Where does everybody get tires? I'm thinking of going with 31's or 32's. How much should I plan to spend? I have access to a tire machine so installing I can do myself, of course I would need to have them balanced though.

All the pulleys seemed to be straight and non to be wobbling when the motor was running.

Motor mounts I believe to be the originals from factory but who knows. When I had the motor swapped out by Steve at SCL automotive he said the motor mounts looked to be ok. I did replace the transmission mount though.

Parts have begun to arrive. These showed up at work today. Now just wish the lift kit would get here, even though I have to wait until Tuesday to put it on.
