New Mexico Roll Call.
Hey what's up guys, just got my first jeep, I've always been a Toyota guy but wanted to try something different. I picked up a 92 Cherokee sport with a gm 305 in it. My plan is to make it into an expedition rig, I've always had rock crawlers but want something I can drive down the road and go exploring in..
I dont, i live in santa fe. so im going to be doing some work on it this weekend. I am replacing the front spacer with 4.5 coils, extended brake lines, new shocks, t case drop, rear shackle relocate, cb, and new front drive shaft since it didnt have one... also need to re do the exhaust b/c at full flex the front drive shaft hits it.
anyone else in santa fe?

Thanks for the info guys! I went ahead and ordered a SYE kit from PORC. Should be here tomorrow. I might run to UPull this weekend and find 2 XJ front DS. One to rebuild and the other for a spare.

I know. But my 99 needs an sye and I found a guy who has a 242 output shaft already cut and tapped but its from a 93 or 94 and I figured it would be easier to just swap outputs than to cut mine. The tcase im picking up from u is going in my 90.
Have you Guys been down to the Robledo Mountain trails I hear they are pretty cool? Plus isn't there supposed to be some nice trails in the Organ Mountains?
