I ordered a 2inch lift from fatbobs. I let the wife drive it today and she said the front started to wobble. I've notice it too while driving on paseo occasionally. I have a new Rancho steering stabilizer waiting to put in. The stock stabilizer is shot.

My question is will i need adjustable trackbar, UCA, and LCA for a 2in lift? Would it be a good idea to go ahead and replace the trackbar or just get new bushings for it?

Death wiggles could be a number of things, it could b the steering stabilizer but more than anything it's just a bandaid. Shot bushings can cause it as well.
You may have steep angles in your steering after the 2". Some people don't change their steering components after their lifts. Except for the pitman arm.

Junior!!! Your genius is requested

Regarding your wiggles. Is it at high speeds around 45-50 that it's happening? Or when you hit a good bump?

I would check out your draglink and tie rod ends to make sure everything is tight or even upgrade to a beefer steering. What does the lift have pucks or new springs? What about the rear blocks, shackels, add a leaf or new leafs? Did it come with trackbar relocate bracket? With a 2 inch I wouldn't worry about trackbar only if it shot. Measure from the unibody to the middle of the tire on both side, to see if your pretty centered. If your off more then a inch then I would get a trackbar. A drop pitman arm may help also. A bad ujoint, ball joints and control arm bushing can cause problems too. Tires and rims can too. Just check everything in the front for any play it will usually fix the problem.

Snow wheeling sounds good to me. I don't see much snow on the Sandia's - might have to hoof it north.

+1 on a thorough vehicle inspection. The PO of my Cherokee installed a 2.5" budget lift and if I hit a bump just right on the highway at around 60-65 I would get the unmistakable death wobble. Death wobble isn't an arbitrary designation, my damn front of my Jeep felt like it was going to rip away from the rest of the vehicle - really freaked me out. I checked everything under the sun and couldn't find a single problem so I installed an adjustable track bar and that fixed it.

This past weekend while working on some shoddy wiring the PO did I ended up blowing fuse #10 which gave me a CEL, no reverse lights, and a couple error codes. Changed the fuse but still ended up with a persistent P0705 error code pointing to the NSS. I ended up asking the guys at O'Reilly's to reset my ECU and eventually the CEL and P0705 went away a day later. Whew!

Wats up new mexicans?! I hail from the swamps of baton rouge louisiana. I have a problem that one of you might be able to help me with. I have a 99 xj as a daily driver. I want to start beefin it up but it is full of rust. If it was a person and rust was cancer it would be dead. It has served me good and many of the parts are still good but i need one that doesnt have any rust. A broke down jeep would be good. Mostly i need a good body, good axles, and a clean interior. Send me a message if u find anything under 1500
