I have the bracket to mount it so I was thinking about it, there is a cross brace under the headliner where the overhead bracket goes. Just not sure it it's long enough to go through the console and the CB.

Well I am hoping my 97 will be rolling again within the next few days. About 2 years ago I took it in for a transmission rebuild and had the guy put a centerforce clutch in. Told him if flywheel was bad to replace it and not shave it as the clutch wasn't good with a shaved flywheel. He shaved it and I got it back with a bad vibration. I began taking it apart to fix the issue and decided better of it and put everything back together, but it wouldn't drive, just idle. Hoping it's just not stabbed in the whole way. Told new mechanic to replace clutch and flywheel with stock replacements and attach everything properly. Hoping to hear back by tomorrow.

 

I am in the same boat as you. My 91 is getting a whole new clutch system today. I had to drive it to the shop last night with no clutch. That was an interesting experience.

Ah don't you love snow wheeling. And that's on paseo and barstow and it gets even worse the higher you go up. Westside is just flaking now but it heading that way. So who ever has work in about 5hours be carefully bridges and slick and so are the roads.
