I was looking on CL today for another xj. Took a break. You score.

 

Haha. Its replacing my current xjs shell.......First order of business is def gonna be frame stiffners and steering box plate.

Out of 35ish cherokees, its my first red one! I dig Red and black xjs.

I create sooo much work for myself! haha

 

Any one have any reviews for ballistic fab high steer arms ? Just bought a set for 95 bucks http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/...re_p_1250.html

 

Got alot of progress done to the bumper today!!











Pretty much just have to pull it off, and fully weld it. Then spend alot of time griding it all smooth!! The fab part is pretty much done though! Hope to have it done, and painted by Saturday for the March madness!!!!

You said you were gonna do a swing out stinger carrier on it???.....I plan on one like that, but it will swing down or out.

 

Ya it has a ton of lines and pieces in it making it round. Why I like it and makes it diff from what you can buy. Looks pretty close to c-rok bumper though.

Ya I may build a swing down carrier/stinger type thing over the summer not sure though. Kind of like having the nice and tight look on the back and no over hang

 

Got alot done tonight. Got the bumper totaly welded up. Need to see if I can source a hitch in town tomorrow to weld that in. Going to grind it all and make her smooth tomorrow. Also got the front bumper repainted and started installing the winch. Dont like the bolts they gave me, so Im going to get some grade 8's tomorrow and finish installing the winch and try to get the bumper back onto the heep. Then install my new shocks after I found out I have to replace the bar pin bushing. Wow what a day tomorrow. Better get working. Only have 3 more days to get it done for Saturday

 

Chad, not sure if you know this or not, but flap wheels will make short work of that grinding. I had a ton of grinding to do on mine, and I found the flap wheel to be the best way to knock that crap out with a quickness....HTH!! I'm diggin that departure angle buddy!! Looks familiar...LOL!!

In other news....Last night, I got a circuit wired into the garage for 240v @ 50A....and my welder is up and running!! Now I need to find a welding project....LOL!! So glad to have a welder....I feel like a kid at Christmas!!

 

I can come up with some projects for you Kyle.....

The titan... He is a quadriplegic, happened to him at a CHCA race, he was a quad guy with me. He is a cool guy.
