Question for all my Colorado peoples...

How much of a dog would my xj be if I decided to spend the little bit of extra money on 35's instead of 33's? I don't plan on staying with the stock gearing for terribly long but it's also not going to happen in say the next 3-5 months. Thoughts? Should I just go with 33's for now and wait?

Btw, 98 w/aw4 and 4.5" lift with mucho fender trimming if I do go with 35's

Maybe Its Just because my engine only has 70k, but mine does just fine on the roads with 3.50 gears and 36's that actually measure 37's. Others will disagree completly. Ask XJSeth or Pitbullxj. I pull hard on the highway!!

Did some research on tranny coolers (amazing some of the "trannys" google comes up with) and I found out there are tons and tons of options, anything inpaticlar I should look for? As far as specs or one with a built in fan?

I just got the biggest one that would fit, a Hayden 405, rated for motorhomes. B&M makes good coolers too. Don't worry about built in fans, not needed.

No problem. I just learned my lesson this last year and if a $50 cooler saves my tranny, it's well worth it.
