Four Corners BS thread!!
Thanks, it's really clean. Didn't even need to clean it lol. My last 3 jeeps were sold because they lost streetability.
So this one I'm going to try to keep it milder.
3-4" lift
31-32" tires on Moab wheels (already have these)
Frame stiffeners
Ford 8.8 w/4:10s and rear locker of some sort - maybe Aussie
D30 Truetrac, or selectable
Armor
Sliders and maybe some HUDFAB bumpers (recovery)
Other than that, going to try to keep everything stock. Even the radio.
Want to use OME or Rusty coils, control arms w/bushings (maybe ironman 4x4), and going to try some sort of longer leaf spring swap and get that crappy shackle angle corrected. Will either do something custom, or the HDOE shackle relocation kit.

it's tempting, but i want to keep the flares on this one. and is it possible to drive like stock on 33s? maybe a 10.50, but i think 33s really start wearing down steering?

However.. Gearing and labor on the 8.25 would be about $350-400ish? and the Powertrax is about $500.
An 8.8 at the JY will run about $125, and the 8.8 Aussie is about $275. The 8.8 can be found factory geared w/4:10. And you get disc brakes!
I completely agree w/ya Frank!

I have the perfect fix for ya....go ahead and take it wheeling. Then you will definitely mess something up, and viola, she's a wheeler!! LOL!!
When I was a kid, my Grand Father bought a new truck. When he brought it home, he put his toolbox in the back of it, and slid it all over the bed, scratching the hell out of the bottom.....he said that he wanted to go ahead and get that over with, it's a work truck!....Back then, I thought he was freakin nuts....but now I understand where he was coming from! HA HA!!
Get it over with, it's gonna happen sooner or later!! LOL!!

I'd rather make money on it and build a wheeler!! If you saw it in person, you would get where I'm coming from.
Funny story with your gpa!!...and yes, I get his reasoning.
So, what prompted me on selling-Dee and I went to the dog park on sunday and when we were done, I cleaned off my dogs feet with a towel so they could get in the back without getting mud all over the seats.
That went as planned. It was when we were on our way home and Dee kept telling me the dogs were farting, but I didnt smell it. She then looked down and low and behold, dog shyt< all over the carpet. She stepped in it right when she was getting in the jeep. Needless to say, I kinda freaked out a little bit and realized I would be like this with this Jeep forever!! I couldnt hanle a little poo, so I can only imagine what I would do when i scrape the side down a tree or get slight rock rash on the rims.
so I'm about 90% sure its getting sold.

I honestly feel more comfy driving a semi beat jeep......weird, I know.

Awesome bro!! thanks for the heads up about the m&g. Its fun to watch all the Huskies and Malemutes play together. Danzig had a blast! My geman shorthair (Wyatt) didnt want anything to do with it and just stayed by my side.....he's a daddy's boy!!
All was good with the exception of the poo!
