Me and shipping companies don't get along very well.
A few months ago Fedex lost a bumper the day after i dropped it off. How do you lose a bumper?!?! Easy...the driver didn't want to lift it so he pulled the tag and tossed it. Damn thing got shipped to a wharehouse in Utah and sat there for the better part of a week before raised enough hell for them to go find it. They had no answer about the $30 worth of hardware that was with the bumper. Never got paid for that "loss".
UPS quotes a price on their website but it ain't the same price they demand when I drop a bumper off at their location. Mysteriously there's a huge jump in price between my house and their UPS drop-off site. Go figure....
Now Uncle Sam is getting in on the act. About 10-12 days ago I ship out another bumper but sent the nuts & bolts via USPS. Yesterday in my mail received a damaged box with no hardware in it. YGTBSM!!!
