Its sick tho!I googled before and found it leaks if there is to much. But it will eventually slowly drain itself dry if I don't watch it. This is the vacuum dana 60 with the vacuum line. It appears it only leaks during and after I drive it when its all warmed up but stops until I drive it again. From what I read it has inner and outer seals which I'm assuming they're all 4 are bed. At least the inner seals are. You think the bearings are bad too? How many bearings would this thing have.
As far as the drive shaft, I can still grab it right behind the front axle housing and I am able to slide it in and out about an inch. Assuming that's not normal... If I pop the drive shaft off, is there a nut on the inside to tighten down to keep it from sliding?
Never troubleshot a truck axle so im just figuring it out. Ill pop the diff cover off tomorrow and see what I see.
Hey so i lookin for help... Went to lefthand sunday and was muddy as hell.. My buddys jeep started running like *** on the way home.. Ran a fuel pressure test and it will barely pull 20 psi when running but the pump is working fine. I think he clogged the filter on the pump or the pressure regulator.. I have a spare pump but not sure if it works.. I was tryin the get the pressure regulator pff it but cant.. Anybody know how to get it off
