Oh jezz, i just found out my friend paid about $40,000 for his new truck total, and it's only worth $29,000. Also, they ripped him off with the trade ins, they gave him around $4,000, the '03 Ram was worth around $7,500 alone. And these are all KBB trade in PRICES, not values.
He would've been better off buying a brand new 2012. And I'm sure he will kill me if i tell him.

lol he's Happy. I'm just giving him **** about it saying he has nothing to justify owning such a large truck. MAYBE to haul in the trophy Elk he's hoping to get this year, but that's about it.

Possible, We may be best friends but I've never seen him naked lol.

Anyways, US postal service at it's best. Just got a package addressed to another neighborhood, gotta take it to the right full owner tomorrow.

I had a neighbor who traded his ranger for a cummins 2500. He didn't have any use for it either. He freaked when I drove it onto a dirt driveway to turn around. He drove it over his little solar yard lights beside his driveway several times. The only time he "used" it was one weekend when he rented a travel trailer. It was as tall as your friend's, his wife was barely 5' tall. He had it probably 2 or 3 months before he traded it in on an F150. I can hardly imagine how much money he lost on that deal.

30k for Dodge 2500 with cummins is about right for one of those since they all go for around 25-29 used with about 90k on them , so after financing at arounf 4-5% it's going to be around $600 a month for 5yrs ...I paid 24k for my 09 2500 6.7 with 85k on it and after tax it is about $500 for 5 years , so I don't think he "overpaid" since that's what they go for. My Truck is stock I've got a bunch of stuff sitting to pretty it up that i never put on , which i probably will after I put on some 33's when I replace the stock 31's , But not going to lift it and put big OL' tires on since that atleas needs a regear to get the towing performance back in range , but ride quality is suck lifted ...But just like C.M.B. was saying about his friend and never using it ...lol...I've had it over a year and never pulled anything other than an ...EMPTY...LOL...tandem trailer , which weighed 2,000lbs and I had no issue hitting 110mph very quickly going up I-70 through Golden Wheatridge , But I can't say I've used this truck one bit for what it's meant for , But it sure will burn down a set of tires...lol

So here's a new one. To me at least. When compressed, My front driveshaft has been coming in contact with my upper control arm and chewing away the thin stock arm. I at about 5-6" lift with stock arms and drop brackets. I plan on building a 3-link eventually and running my upper on the passenger side.

In my Honda Element.
And I've even run Daken Rd, Argentine Pass, and Pickle Gulch.
