Hey, my Ford's been good to us. It's a Ranger though, and those have always been tanks compared to the F-series. Also we understand the concept of regular maintenance being done properly, which would keep the ****tiest of cars running for ages.
And honestly, ALL old trucks are good as long as they have been taken care of. All the new ones are Chinese built and 90% plastic and mostly owned by morons who have never held a wrench in their life.

I like all the Big 3 Domestic trucks ...I'm not fond of the Fender wells on the Chevy 1500's i think they are way too big for the stock size tires and look goofy , but I'd take it over a Toyota truck anyday since every Foreign truck looks like a spaceship or bubble , and do not have a rugged truck look .
Might be visiting Denver in a week. Going to bring my mtb, any spots you guys would recommend?
edit: Looked into it, Id be in Lakewood and would probably bike over to Golden to hit up some trails like Apex.

apex is good.. also deer creek canyon, lair of the bear, pence park, mount falcon is good and has some good loops at the top. all really close to the lakewood area. those are more 5-7 trails on a scale of 1-10. if you want a bit easier, green mountain has a range of 3-6 and is right in lakewood. i ride all those trails often, so leme know if you have any other questions. the altitude will be some getting used to for you, maybe..

You can get on green mountain trail and connect that, dakota ridge, and mathew winters park for one big ride if you want. Green mountain sucks, but it's better than riding pavement. The other two are pretty fun.
Thank you for the suggestions. Il only be there for a few days but I plan on biking all day everyday. Apx. how many miles would it be to bike green mtn, dakota, and winters park?

Oh jezz, i just found out my friend paid about $40,000 for his new truck total, and it's only worth $29,000. Also, they ripped him off with the trade ins, they gave him around $4,000, the '03 Ram was worth around $7,500 alone. And these are all KBB trade in PRICES, not values.
He would've been better off buying a brand new 2012. And I'm sure he will kill me if i tell him.

I feel bad for him because he's my BEST friend, and only 19. He's gonna be paying this thing off for 6 years in installments of over $600 (Which he CAN afford, for now). I guess he just got so focused on owning a Cummins he didn't think it through.
