Lol, they were replaced... a year ago? Although it may have something to do with the fact that my auto adjusters are broken. And the shoes are fine, i do have new ones ready to be thrown in.

Sounds like you just need a new axle all together, with all new e-brakes. Or you can figure out why your auto adjusters aren't working. If the brakes aren't properly adjusted, they aren't working when you use the foot brake either, which means you have seriously compromised braking in traffic. I'd be looking into that.

From what you say, my guess is that someone put your brakes back together wrong, and you are going to die soon. You should come wheeling with us before that happens.

I know why they aren't working, the little arm thing doesn't touch the star wheel. When i do replace the shoes, I'm gonna replace all of the worn/bent parts. A new axle is a ways away from happening rofl.

I just adjust them manually with a piece of wire every few weeks.

Well anyway, the solution for wheeling purposes is pretty simple... Just don't stop.

I have a dana 35 with rear brakes that worked before I pulled it. If you want to come look how it's supposed to go together or take any parts from it. I assume the 86 and 92 had the same rear brakes.

Also, spare shafts, and 4.1:1 R&P if anyone wants them.

The other side of the planet from you. Sedalia. Not Salida, Sedalia, which is between Castle Rock and Littleton on 85.

Yeah, I know. But if you time it right we can hit some trails before you head back to the ends of the earth.

Probably would cost you more in gas than just buying all new parts though.

Probably use a half tank total if i stay on 85, But if we do a trail it's worth it.

I occasionally go up to Longmont to visit a friend, I'll see if you are still interested next time I go.

Hey guys, thought I would post up about that for sale ad. Per your inputs I put it up on craigslist for 2k. I kinda need to sell it this weekend so I can make room in the garage for my new project. I'd be willing to go a little lower to sell it quick if it went to a CF person (since I know they would actually use it)
