Yeah! I have been running no ac all summer down here in 100+ heat.. its no thang but sum mescan a/c! From what I have read the ac comp setup produces a insane amount of air though! That 5 gal tank in the rear would work but takes up more space than what I care to give up. I will be attempting the 2x6 boatsides soon and hopefully I can make a solid tank out them. get protection and oba! Question though.. how gnar would it be to puncture one of those bad boys on the trail lol! I wouldn't expect it to explode but can you imagine all the **** that would get thrown in the air! Be like a smoke bomb for a ninja!

maybe get some of those little poppers that you pull then and the little streamers come out. that way you will have atleast some type of explosion

Yeah I bough them for bump stop and coil spring retainer purpouse , but sleeved the front tower instead on the outside with tube , Ad while I was looking at my leftover parts I just smiled as to what I can make with them...lol

2-1/2 diameter pipe will sleeve the outside of the bump tower with help from a small 4lb sledge ...it is a very tight interference fit and will most likely not even need a bolt to hold it on since it will be so tight ...I used 2-1/2 Ridgid conduit as my sleeve it is about 3/16 th wall and about $60 per I think 8ft section compared to the paper thin $16 stuff , And would probably be ok for bump stop duty , But I use my shocks to limit up travel ,so they do not support the Jeeps weight just guide my coils ,but probably could ,and you can always use stronger material .
If using the tubes as bump stops I would do a combo of extending the tube down and adding pucks on the axle pad that way you don't end up with too much leverage on the bump tower and bend it , But that depends on how long they need to be .
What i would do is flex up the Jeep to where it rubs see what you can trim to to make most out of uptravel and still turn without ripping things apart b4 stopping up travel then measure how much shaft is left on the shock if say 4 inches buy shocks that are 4 inches longer they will stop uptravel there and work just fine as a bump stop ,and the extra 4 inches of shock will give you back 4 inches of drop travel if you can use it without binding first or running out of brake line ...you can always limit strap the down travel so you don't break things if your set up does not allow for that much drop .

oh wait.. that would require us to have some c4 or the likes ....
