I'm thinking most races won between XJ and tuner cars is due to the driver of the XJ being the only driver with knowledge a race took place ?

I replaced the fuel pump last Sunday afternoon on the XJ while down in Denver ...I was going to do it on the black top , but decided no- f'n way , so limped it over to Chinakee's house where I was able to put under the shade of a tree in the concrete driveway ...and up on 2 rather large car ramps , so it was pretty easy . the only hard part of that is getting the odd shaped heavy skid on/off , but with 4 people standing around that's easy also . it still has a run issue but did not die , but fawk it I just bought a trailer , so it does not need to run highway good just good enough to run in 4-lo.

 

Doors are done. All need to do is borrow a welder for 2 min to tac the top of the bolts

It gets like 120* in the shop!...been there from 7am-10PM ALL this week so far.
