How do you folks with nothing under your head lights not rip off your header panel ...I see many stubby bumpers that only cover the unirail area , And I can't see how you still have head lights .

Rather than have a winch hanging on by nothing really I bent some metal and fixed it up a bit. After some bending and welding viola.... It will hold and will work for now.
Here are some pics for the heck of it.

I am going to add more protection on the side whe I get time. Any time I get right nw goes to the buggy rather than this.

you should see the cold welding job on the bumper sitting on the floor of dustins shop that came off my jeep...it's 1/4 thick and but welded together with ZERO penetration ...How can a person not be able to weld 1/4 thick material to 1/4 thick is beyond me since the skill required is zero for a basic weld like that .

the moral of this story is explained in XJPRO Stopping production of his bumpers..... They look ok online and I needed something to work for a little while but man his bumpers suck. Stay away from them. Aftere seeing how it fell apart I do not understand how I ever winched with it! I could have killed somebody!!
Do not buy an XJPRO bumper. His stuff sucks and will fail you and get you hurt. They are not even worth taking to the scrap yard.

Sadly that happens more than people think. I had a buddy of mine in washington who paid guy to do a ton of work. He went to him becuase of the price the guy gave him. Sadly the welds did not penetrate and while off roading the seat bracket the guy had weld on came off and he face planted into the steering wheel. Broke his nose and bruised his face bad. It sucked that the welds were not really inspected that much until after the fact. Tht is when we found out how bad they were. Needless to say we found out the guy enjoyed a little to much extra curricular activities and realy was nothing more than a drug head. He coverd it up well though. Ended up spending time in the nut house for crashing his truck into a light pole while blazed out of his mind on opium. Moral of the story is know who is working on your rig!!! Drugs equal bad MOJO!!!!
