When I had my stock 90 I had to change the tranny filter and it wasn't in the least bit fun. I'm small but the pan was less than 6 inches from my face

Sled pulls anyone??

I was going to go Stick , But got suckered into the Automatic ...I unhooked all the go fast stuff on it B/C I'm pretty sure the 68rfe under it is bone stock ... But running the go fast stuff it has about 450 RWHP and around 900lb ft ...possibly I might buy an upgraded Torque converter and upgrade the TCU with a new shift program , which should hold 500 RWHP and allow me to run the toys it cam with fairly safely , But in almost stock form it has plenty of power to Tow the XJ at speeds well in excess of the speed limit...UP the Pass...lol

You have a 6.7 or 5.9? I would never buy a cummins with an auto. But I plan on 5 inch turbo back no cat no muffler, intake and h and s programmer. Better than a smarty. and egr delete. That should put me right around 600 and 1400. My e test says 307 hp and 688 ft/lb bone stock at a 60mph pull.

6.7 ...the 68rfe was built just for this motor...unlike the old 727 variant used behind the 5.9's ...and also has the gearing to match the torque curve of the motor unlike the auto behind the 5.9 ... My trans is under warranty for a very looong time , So it's no worries if it does give up ...but under stock power towing an XJ it's not likely to die soon ...If I hook up the Edge again and start running race tune ...maybe not ...lol

Be around Tuesday with Cash in hand...I'm pretty sure the banks are closed today for holiday , So I'll get you paid cash tomorrow ...Again that work looks great , and that bumper looks so much better than that chunk of steel that was hanging off the front b4 ...lol...I'm thinking tube doors next ...and I'm looking at sending it back your way in the fall when I do the fuel cell and stretch the rear back to 115 .
