Well I'm hoping my Jeep is atleast ready for the weekend , As I 'm pretty much set on driving over some cars at the rods and rigs show Sunday ...My WJ which my bro wrecked ,and I'm still driving was my last victim before I dropped it off at the shop on the 7th of this month , As I figured since it's wrecked , why not drive a tire onto the hood ...lol...Which reminds me I need to figure out what truck i'm going go with for my new ride/tow rig Ford or Dodge powersmoke or Cummins ?
one day, when i become rich, im gonna do a cummins swap in my xj

The 4bt really doesn't give you any better torque or hp if I have read into the swap correctly... the 4.0 seems to be just about perfect unless your wanting to mud bog or the likes. But I could be mistaken i suppose.

The 4bt is much ado about nothing really. Might as well keep the 4L I6

in stock trim it's about 300 lb/ft ...I seen an XJ for sale awhile back on CL up I think in the Silverthorne area it was used at the mines ,and had been converted to a 4bt by Alalanche Engeneiring ...you know Poision Spyder, American Rock Rods....AKA Clifton Slay . I'll run the 4.0 until it dies since i'll be towing it 90% of the time ,but when it dies it will be getting an ls 6.0 and either th-400 or 4l80e ...But that's a year or two off , and who knows I might get bored of the xJ before that ,and switch up rigs again .
