I was at Danny's tuesday of last week we took it out for a test drive , and after much debate Rick an I convinced him his links needed to be moved ...then with more convincing from Rick he finally moved them ,and it is working pretty well on the road ride ...Then on Sunday i dropped off my hobart 210 , So he can burn in some welds that will not crack when dropping off a big ledge . I'm waiting to see how well the Double Tri link front does on rocks and off camber crawling if it does well I will be linking the front ...if not then I thank danny for the R&D . I'm thinking he's going to hate 42's and that drivetrain combo of 4.0 ax-15 and stock geared 231 of 2.72 , Because I hate it on 40's and have better gearing with the auto due to the torque converter , So that stick and stock 231 I think is going to be no fun , which is why I decided to build stronger b4 going bigger again ... I'm hoping he gets this thing trail worthy by august ,so we can hit the trails as a group again Danny, Rick , and I ... I like competition between friends on the trail it makes for harder & harder lines ...but I think my XJ is sitting currently able to take a better beating and with a good cage/trailer I'm thinking Chinakee will be 1tons Byatch this summer despite 5 inches taller and 42's...lol...but danny's a good driver , So it will be tough , But I thinks he's still 2 worried about dents to really push those 42's to do more than I will willing drive with no fear of flopping on .

Dustin and I (mostly Dustin) did the balljoints on my jeep today. Went to do bushings and made a discovery. I don't have a 4.5" lift, after some deliberation and math we came to the conclusion I have 6.5" coils up front. Neat and all but have some serious binding issues in the front short arms obviously. So for the time being I'm ordering LCA drop brackets to solve the issue.
Now before everyone jumps on me to do Long Arms and blah blah blah, the drop brackets are a temporary summer solution. So I can at least wheel it for the time being!
Ripping carpet out tomorrow
