Denver bs thread
LOL...I was hauling to catch you and Danny and when I got to the intersection, I made the wrong turn. I went right and kept hauling @$$. When I found myself back on top of whale's tail, my heart just sank. Hahaha...I seriously thought I was in the fkn twighlight zone! It was fun 4 sure though.

Job two, I have almost completed my Firefighter One certs.. they are a national cert so I would need to find a FD that is taking laterals.
Job three, Would be my old logistics job with automotive chemicals. (temp until I could land either of the first two.)

PD or FD in colorado is almost non existent. I asked around and PD jus isn't hiring (they put a freeze). On average, a dept will have one position with over 700 applicants. I wish the best of luck to ya though. I also heard Jail LE is steadily rising though

Believe it or not, I thought a police career is a solid career path ya know cause you know we kinda need em lol some people don't think. SO NEXT TIME YOU ARE GETTING MUGGED TRY TO CALL A CRACKHEAD OKAY? But I was astonished, a few guys on NAXJA are officers and told me how bad it is. Another or two, finally passed that 18 month program or whatever and now they are having trouble locating a dept that'll hire em

You can try and talk to the Forest Service about back-country FD stuff. Last I talked to them was late June and they said they needed more people at that time. Things could be different now though.

Believe me when I say that I know the LEO career path is though, I have been accepted into Lubbock PD however I declined the offer seeing that I really dont have a thread in my body that wants to live in Tx. That process contained as many as 1000 + applicants. Newly certified officers in the Denver Metro are hard to come by but they are there. Aurora PD has placed a hiring freeze again until june of next year. And DPD have almost placed the same time restraints on their hiring processes as well. My other option that I was accepted into previously but never took a leap into would be State Police. But I will certainly check out the Forest Service FD... although its nearing that time where they really dont hire for the remainder of the year. I have lots of certs and training in the LE capacity though and would really like to pursue that as a career more so than FD. The logistics gig was just mentioned as a buffer so I could move sooner and not have to stay down in the hell that is New Mexico anylonger than I have to. Only problem is Keeping up with training and certs if the freeze continues on like it has
