man, i wish my stock xj got 18 mpg lol..

i also wish it was the pre-daycare commute days, and i could ride my bike to work again.. hahaha. i drive about 40 miles a day now.

Anybody have a tube flaring kit I can use?

I need to flare a brake line and don't trust the one I have. I only need one line done, otherwise I'd invest in a better kit.

 

Get a CRX they get like 50 mpg

I couldn't stand ricer bikes for a long time. When I was16 headed to take my drivers license test someone ran a red light in his bike skidding across the front of my moms van when I was driving. He had a 6" long gash 1" deep on his helmet. Didn't say anything to me or my mom about it. I was lucky I wasn't 2 feet farther out in the intersection or he would have smashed into my door going about 60mph

 

I didnt know we were talking bikes hahaha. Thought u just needed something with good mileage

 

I think Dustin's getting a car and digger mistook CRX for CBR.

 

Oh. Well bikes are too dang unsafe to ride daily. A crx is super cheap and does so good for mpg

I'll never own another street bike. I owned one a few years back it was a 600 with 900 motor stuffed in it. Popped a 100 yard wheelie by mistake scared the crap out of me I parked it and sold it back to My friend. Couldn't do it anymore. I will buy a Harley sometime soon maybe next spring I'm too big for a street bike.

 

Fishie, bite your tongue again lol! Just gotta be aware of your surroundings. Need to not be oblivious to be safe. That said, I'm gonna try to get another bike I think this spring, hopefully soon. I know it's not the best time to buy, but I don't think I can be as active as I am and DDing the XJ. I'd spend the same $ in gas that I could get a bike for haha. Plus, girls (whether they'll admit it or berade you) love bikes, especially if they get to ride. Too bad so many douchebags have crotch rockets for just that reason
