Very nice. I need to add some recovery points to my front end. I had to make due with my front bumper for some winching and used my tow hitch for some rear hitching.
Incredibly slushy snow on trail +45* angle down into a river is a tricky situation to bypass. We ended up pulling my Jeep back enough to have another go at the trail, took a shovel and dug a trench on the upper side of the hill to set my driver side tire in and hopefully keep me from sliding into another tree again.... Right as we got the trench built through this 30 foot long snow bank, a group on ATVs came down and said if we got past this we could keep going, but we'd turn back eventually cause RIGHT before the top the trail was totally impassible. Bummer. I wrecked my finger and mashed my right fender a little bit, just to get muddy and turn around on a trail. BUT.... Got some good shots at least... There were all after we turned around and started exploring spurs, taken with my iPhone.
This is what happens when you're distracted as you shut your door.... Lost a very thick layer of skin from knuckle to nail. Pic doesn't look too bad but after I took a shower and got it cleaned up, I laughed. It's a bit mangled... No climbing for me for a while.

These 2 were just some pics I snapped going down the trail. Not a big deal at all till we hit the snow banks, and of course the part where we did all the work and winching I didn't take any pics. This was the SAME trail I did like a week after new years with a very fresh layer of snow (if anyone remembers those pics) and we went right through. Lesson learned that Spring snow is a diabolical enemy.

The rest were just some flex shots on a spur off the 7 Mile Creek trail in Northern CO... I wanted to just dick around but the kid with the white JK had JUST bought it and this was his first trail. Me and my buddy (who apparently was at the 4wp thing.... goofy foreign kid, blue TJ rubicon on 35s, hacked fenders and a huge antenna mounted on his rack) showed him how to disconnect his sway and just gave him a general intro to offroading I guess. Was a good time regardless. Cept my finger is black and blue and sore as hell today.
This is all what triggered my flexing convo last night.... I wish I had checked the shocks but I'm pretty sure I'm not maxing them out...

(My current laptop background. I think it came out pretty good for little effort lol)

and FINALLY, some trail damage inflicted by ME. This is the brunt of the damage, a little chipping of the paint at the top where the fender folded and a small scrape on the other side of the wheel well

I love Colorado. I haven't done a TON of traveling, but I've traveled to many different places, mostly west of CO from the Texas / mexico border to the Canada Border / N. Dakota. Haven't found anywhere that makes me wanna move from here.
