The more arch and the stiffer your springs are they less they untravel. And they have to wear in also. So the softer they get the more they flex. The flatter your spring the more travel you will get.

Your springs are broke in man. Thet have been on that jeep for two years now, and were on another before that.
You prob need to ditch a couple of the leafs and relocate your shackles......also look at your rear shocks next time ur fully flexed and make sure they are not fully compressed.

^ The second worst thing about the xj.. uber crappy shackle angle.
I think it would.. by moving your shackle closer to a 45 degree angle, your ride improves, and also the shackle will swing backward (w/out hitting the shackle box) to stuff your tires, and forward more to get you more droop.
