If I wasn't working Friday I'd be in. Maybe next time.

Tough to say and depends on who you are asking will be the responses you will get. Some really popular ones are Holly Cross, Wheeler Lake, Chinamans BV, also Penrose trail system. They are about 2-3 hours away. Spring creek is fun. Takes about 40min to get there from Denver.

Does anybody have a contact at Rock Rash Engineering in Aurora? I'm getting the run-around on a craigslist deal with a guy that works there. He won't respond to my phone calls or texts now. Thanks.

I know a few folks on here that know Toby and could probably get in touch , But if you have not paid the guy any money and he is giving you the run around then just take that as a no deal and move on ...lol...I do not think anyone would appreciate being made the ref just b/c they work in the same shop ...not being a douche i'm just saying that instead of chasing a bad deal just let it go .

Good points. I can't remember the guy's name - I just have his cell #. I bought a Detours Tailbone system from him, which they aren't making right now. He forgot to take a few parts off though, which I discovered a few weeks after I bought it when I finally had time to install it.

I called him and explained what was missing, and he said he was sure he gave me everything, but would check his Jeep and see. The part that I need is the inner brace which is hidden by the stock crossmember and very easy to miss. I sent him links to pictures of the parts and I've been texting or calling him every day since for over a week and no response. I just want the rest of the parts I paid for so I can get this thing mounted up! I'll drive across town and meet him - hell I'll take the part off myself - it's just 4 bolts holding it on. I don't know why he's being so difficult about it. Usually Jeepers are pretty cool to deal with.

Thanks for your response, this gives me places to look into while I plan my trip out there.

A jeep on 33s with a rear locker can do a bunch of trails here. When are you thinking of coming out.

I just got off the phone with Toby and he has no idea what you're talking about. But you can call him at (303)-349-2120. That's his personal number and he will pick up. If you're dialing a different number, then you're not talking to Rock Rash. If you didn't go to the Rock Rash Engineering shop, chances are you're talking to someone else trying to be Toby lol. Just my 2 cent

But give him a call

Sweet I should have no problem. Planning on sometime this year, perhaps late July/early August. Have a bit of work to do first.
