It sucks I had to work today. Would have loved to hit the rocks with you guys. Looks like you hit some good trails and had a blast.

Has anyone been to Smiley Rock? Its on Mingus Mountain, about 30 minutes east of Prescott. It's supposed to be the bees knees. Basketball size and bigger rocks. Its a creek bed in the bottom of Martin Canyon, 20 some odd miles. I know where it is and how to get there, but I havent been able to go due to a rod bearing. PM me if you want directions. Maybe we can hit up some day.

That's a far enough drive for us I would want to hit it up and make it an overnight trip. Sounds funOriginally Posted by jarhead0415

So after wheelin yesterday I noticed an interested noise coming from my jeep while crawling up the rocks. I came home to look at why my wheel looked bent and found that problem only to find another. My u-joints were shot at the rear axle.

There are tons of camping spots up there, its all Prescott National Forest. Starts on the mountain and comes out in Prescott Valley.Originally Posted by daizey

Hey guys IV been directed this way to see if maybe some of you guys. Could help. I'm in Glendale and iv got one 90 xj that has a freeze plug leaking on the back of the engine inside of the bell housing. IV never dropped a tranny before and figured maybe a fellow jeeper with experience dropping the AW4 could help me out. Its would be awesome if I could find somebody to help me do this repair in my area. I could possibly pay someone a little bit to help or buy lunccgh and a case of beer. If anyone is interested I'd appreciate it. Or atleast offer advice or tips. Thanks guys.
