On those RC drop brackets, be sure to examine and tighten the nuts that hold the shim plates in place after a few miles..... better yet, tack weld them after you're satisfied with the setup. Talking from experience here.......

Absolutely! We'll have to get some these other guys (on the thread) to join us this next time. It might be be fun to head up to Sawmill Ridge earlier in the summer, or try to make it over Coon Creek Summit....

Sounds like a similar problem I had. It just turned out to be a clogged fuel filter. It would always start but then would fight to stay running before dying off.
