When my sensor bit the dust, I was headed home from Jarbidge, and noticed I was gradually losing power. By the time I hit the Interstate, I could barely get it to 50mph going downhill..... All the way to Burley, I was praying it wouldn't crap out.....

Map sensor? Knock sensor? Coolant temp sensor? I believe all those have something to do with the fuel and ignition timing. Might be worth the time to look into those

Is yours a renix? Some don't have it but it would be on distributor side if you did, not exactly sure what it looks like, mine doesn't have it. Sorry if it doesn't help.

I told you wrong. The knock sensor is on driver side right above oil pan.
