Got my new Alloy USA ball joints. Does anyone have a ball joint separator and press that they could lend out for a weekend?

Well, got going on my ball joints and the pass side lower is rusted in and the drivers hub won't budge either. Does anyone have a torch I could borrow? Or a Cheater bar?

Hey Dakri, welcome. If you are new to your Cherokee, the Lewistown OReily's has two counter men who are also Cherokee drivers/wrenchers. They are a good live source of help.
How are you going to set your rig up? I live 50 miles out in the breaks from Winnett so am a big fan of small bastard lifts, lotsa cutting and folding on the fenders and Super Swampers. Get you some tires with a bit of meat, Treadwrites are a good start and get with another Jeep and come see us. YOu can drive an eazy hundred miles of gumbo right from my house. YOu will get to know your Cherokee real quick.

So after fighting with my jeep for about 3 days I finally got a new exhaust manifold, ball joints, and a new '99 intake manifold (my dad managed to bend the old one ever so slightly when we took it out) installed. Now after alignment my death wobble is MORE pronounced (I could kind of feel a slight shake at 50-60mph) now its really bad. any suggestions? I do have polly bushings to install on my track bar yet, and I plan on replacing my steering with 1 ton upgrade here this winter.

Sounds like you got a lot done! Death wobble is a pain in the butt to fix. I have only had it once and it was my trackbar. The bolt that holds it in had worn down so it could move about 1/4inch in either direction. Did you get it fixed? I have a Rustys 1-ton steering I am replacing with the Currie one sometime next week. If you want the rustys let me know.- Nothing is wrong with it... I just had how it eats TREs. I also have 4 shocks for a 6.5" lift if anyone wants em (replaced with bilsteins)

Yea on mine it destroys tie rod ends- about once every 4-6 months I have to change them and realign. Could just be my driving though- I have always ate them up. Thought I would give the Currie one a try instead.I have had this set of TRES on for awhile now though- I bought the good ones vs the cheap autozone ones. Might have been the problem haha.
It is this one:http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...nversion.html/
Ive had it for a few years and it is red w/chips (would need a quick sanding/painted) all the threads are straight and it is not bent or anything. Definitely much strong than stock. The XJ TREs are too long but it requires no reaming or anything. Uses 1941-1986 CJ TREs.

And yes.. bullets and energy drinks. I also have a throttle-body spacer I could throw in there for an additional couple energy-drinks if you want it. I think its this one: http://www.quadratec.com/products/17...FSEV7AodRRIATw
