Finally got new rims hopefully will be here and on the jeep by the end of the month, also will be calling forest service this week got busy last week and did not get to it, the run will happen no matter what the forest service says just depends of I can advertise outside of the forums or not. Please if you know anything about wheeling up at canyon ferry let me know how it is.

 

For sure! I'll be moving to MT sometime in the next several months for work and I'll sure miss traildamage.com which I've used in CO for the last several years. There doesn't seem to be an equal resource for MT trails.

 

Jonlabass luckily Montana is half way there, Jeanne and Willie worthy have a book out that's trails of western Montana around 25 bucks and it's yours. MTXJA is also working on a few things. Hoping to have a sneak peak before Christmas coming out. We're still working on a lot of things and hopefully they will solidify here soon.

That sounds promising, jeep4lf. Thanks for the info - I'll have to check that book out when I get up there. We'll be moving to the Bozeman area whenever our house sells so we may have to meet up for some trails.

I'm finally done with the Army and will be back in MT in October (Missoula). Can't wait to leave this swamp and go up in the mountains again.

My dad and all my wheeling buddies are in Laurel/Billings. I have no problem driving a few hours to go ride. The only reason i'm going to be in Missoula is school. Ill be sure to follow this thread/fb page and try to hook up with you guys.

Just curious if you guys have ever done the Morrison jeep trail? I would like to do it again but from what Ive heard from my buddies, those switchbacks are getting pretty narly.
