anyone in the San Diego area install lifts?
all the quots i've got from the shops are out of my budget.
I am looking to do a 2" spacer and AAL lift w/ a new track bar.
I would like to do it in May sometime.
Thanks

Answering those will help you answer your question.
I would say the most variety would be in the desert where you'll get rocks, sand, mud, etc That is about 1-2hrs away depending on where you live.
Check out Anza Borrego, Pinyon Mountain, Ocotillo Wells, Glamis
Also, check out this thread over at the jeep forum - they seem pretty active about getting together to wheel, break, fix, repeat.
By the way: Welcome to California!

another one to check out is justruns.com - a wheelin group that goes out with no fees, dues, etc.
