Sunday's are my only days off, those will work. But I'm busy this weekend all weekend. Set a date and time and I'll see what I can do. Dinner will work better than lunch. I'll buy the first rouns'

Anyone recommend any good off road apps. Prefer somethimg I can still use on my ipad offline. That has good features such as trail mapping and topography.

I think I used a north face app before, but had service the first half of the trail, after that it was useless. Prior to losing signal it was amazing

Phone apps are great as long as you have service. But I don't trust my experience to not having service. I use a Garmin GPS with topos2010 software

Yeah I was searching for an app that could be used both on and offline. Such as downloading trail maps before hand. Went with this app since most of my hiking friends use this. You guys ever heard of Gaia GPS app? Link on YouTube seemed pretty decent enough.

You still don't have location unless you have service

I thought iPhones were able to still receive a gps signal regardless if there was any cell phone service or wifi connection...or at least that's what I was told. That's why most of my buddies who do off road biking use the Gaia GPS app and download trail or area maps before hand.... I could be wrong though. Anyway I downloaded it and will give it a try on my next off day.
