Basically you punch out the old nuts (they're just tack welded) and fish a bolt lock nut and washer combo through the holes. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Broken Upper Rear Shock Bolts Oh My Easy Fix No Cutting
Or instead of using a nut at the top, fish a bolt through there using fishing line or mechanics wire. Pretty easy to do minus the dirt and mud falling in your eyes. I have bolts with BPEs. If you need help, let me know... I have an air hammer and fishing line too, just supply the bolts which I think are 7/16"-14 x 1-1/2" or 2" long with a lock washer, washer and nut. Might want to search for the actual length of the bolt though to verify.
