Just got back from box car cove, at lake mead.
The water level has gone done, Its pretty sad.
Hard to find good spots now, even with a lifted XJ.
plenty of fish, but no bites.
Let me know when you guys decide to do the lake mead night run.

Nothing is wrong, they just have weird laws. When I lived there, back in college, I got pulled over many times for my vehicles. And my 31s on a 3" lifted XJ were illegal even though they were flush with the flares. And the alcohol laws, smoking laws, driving any street more than 3 times in a hour is considered cruising. 19 to buy cigs!! I quit smoking though.
But that was several years ago when I was single and didn't care lol. Two years ago when I moved back for work, I felt it was a lot better than Vegas. Quiet, relaxing and I couldn't drive my bagged Silverado anywhere without scrapping something. I want to move back, one day. I miss the scenery, 4 seasons, outdoor activities and how cheap everything is.

I agree with you on the family part. I lived up north in Ogden and Layton, about a half hour north of Salt Lake. The wheeling up there is awesome, and the views are incredible. If you don't mind places closing earlier at night and some places being closed on Sundays, then its fine. I say go for it. St George is building fast, our branch there is busy with the mines and construction.

Yep Vegas is crap to raise kids. Me and my girl plan on going up to Seattle soon. When I was back up there a few years ago it was weird seeing everything close early and no hard liquor thats sold in any stores.
