LAS VEGAS XJ GROUP-----> 1st ROLL CALL.
i have a BDS short arm lift and i really like it but with BDS your going to pay a good penny. Rubicon Express is a good kit as well from what ive heard, but if you want to keep it cheap look at Rough Country or Rusty's, not the best kits but they will get the job done.
I've been running the RC 6.5"long arm kit for a while now all over our desert terrain and haven't had any problems as of yet. I'm sure their 4.5"kit would perform in a similar manner, one thing i do religiously its basic maintenance meaning, if it has a zerk I grease it, if its loose, i tighten it, etc...
I also highly recommend some sort of shackle relocation kit to get your shackle angles right. I've found that these make a big difference on and off road in terms of articulation and ride quality.

I went with a RE short arm kit. (not installed yet) i resurched the hell outta my options and what i plan to do in the end. In the end long vs short arm debatevwill leave you tired and confuesed. Long arms look cool, perform well, but you pay the price to own it. Short arms will do every thing a long arm kit will, unless it is a custom fab'd long arm kit. With that, good luck, ask more questions if you need, we are here to offer advice.

Haha yes Hector's kit is performing great still because he takes damn good care of it. Some people don't care to do that. So I guess in the end get what you want but make sure you grease it up and take care of it lol

Did you race for Team Associated? I use to race for Airtronics, Tekin, Twister, Parma, Technacraft, Boca Bearings, and PSE.... I still have so much unused equipment from when I use to race 1/10th scale...
