Time for new bushings and steering joints! Should be comein down to 4.5 inches this weekend. Hopefully.
Installed new distributer.. Still misfiring like crazy. Im not sure what else to replace. Any ideas? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributer, and coil pack have all been changed.

 

Are you sure it's electrical and not fuel?

 

221K miles, gets the **** beat out of it every day, and still passes smog like a champ. Amazing what a lil maintenance can do

 

I already miss it!! But now I can build up the XJ and get it were I want it!

 

I haven't shot down fuel yet.. im gana start looking into the system sometime this week. hopefuly I can find something.. im getting sick of my cel and the rough idle.. im not exactly sure what in the fuel system could cause it except low fuel pressure.. which could be a failing fuel pump or a clogged filter.. @ that id bet the filter.. but well see.. where can I get a fuel pressure checker? autozone?

Gearing, lockers, and labor sucks. First quote: $5023!!!

 

Where at? I was quoted anywhere from $2k to $3500 for everything. And a lot cheaper if I bought my gears and lockers online.

By the price, i'd say e-lockers with cromolly shafts and c-clip elimanators....
