Question for you guys.. For the local trails around Vegas what tire size would you recommend? Currently I have 15" rims with 30" tires. There gonna need replaced pretty soon and I'm just curious as to what sizes you guys are running with?

Depends on how much you want to spend. I'm currently running 31s with stock gearing. You can run 33s on stock gearing, but I personally wouldn't.

On trail 31s are going to force you to be a better driver because of the lack of ground clearance.

If you have a 8.25 you are fine with 32 or 33s. If you are confused and have a d35 because the look practically the same then you will break driving down the street lol

I have a 4" lift kit other than that it's all stock.. 31s would be good. If I was going to do 33s I'd need to change the gearing?

Gottcha. But if 30s or 31s will work good then I can just do that. What type of tires are you guys using? I have all terrains now. And was thinking of getting BFG all terrains. My XJ is my daily driver so I don't want to ruin whatever type of tire I get by driving it on the pavement every day.

I'm running 31x10.50 15 good year wrangler duratrac me personally I love them and haven't had any issues. They hook up real well snow, mud, dirt and so on. All depends on what you want and what you can afford.
