Mmm check out this bad mother****er on tracks



If you have air coming out of the defroster vents on the dash, then its a broken vacuum line. Find the vacuum leak, and youve solved it.

If you have nothing happen at all, no heat, no ac, no ac compressor turning on.., I bet its the controller(console) thats mafunctioning. 10 -15 bux at pick a part. make sure you find one that doesnt have burnt connections on the back at alll.(if your pigtail connections are burnt then take new ones to splice onto your jeep. )

 

I have to bang on my dash sometimes to get my fan to turn on because of the burnt connections

 

does anyone have an extra vacume canister? mine seems to have randomly gone missing overnight.
if not... to the junkyard!

 

you dont "really" need one. all it does is store vac for your HVAC unit and cruise control to use in low vac situations like WOT

 

I had to relocate mine since i went aftermarket with the bumper. I found they were pretty cheap new at the dealer. 12 bucks or so.

 

Anybody have an adj. trackbar laying around they don't need??

 

I have my old one. I removed it and capped the line. Cruise still works just fine.

 

Passenger rear shock went out on me. The piston rod rattles in the shock body. I can grab it and shake the whole thing. Piece of crap generic shocks lasted from May til now haha.

Suggestions for replacements? Been looking at Rustys or Skyjacker MX shocks. Both look similar in design amd specs. Just need the rears now, fronts maybe if the price is decent.

 

they guy down the street from you has the rustys remote res on all 4 corners of his ZJ. He says he likes them.

 

So im thinkin of takin the jeep to the pipeline trail on the sw side of town this sunday if anybody else wants to join. Gotta get familiar with the jeep before i take it on a long drive. Hit me up 7022382102

I have doetsch tech 8000s from IRO. They seem to ride comfortably.

 

the problem i see with them is they are 150 each.. for that much money I would want something adjustable like a MX6 or rs9000xl

 

Trail is off tropicana and 215 area. Ive done it a couple times, its fun for a quick trip. Ill be goin around 10 am or so. If anybody else goes we can meet up somewhere close to there
