Amen ocho! It annoys me when I see rigs that are lifted 5"-6" and they only run 31" tires. With 5-6" of lift you should be running longarms and at least 35" tires not short arms which put your angles just horrible.

I'm at around 2" of lift and im running 33" tires. I can flex pretty damn good but I do need to bumpstop better so my ZJ so my rear tires stop hitting my fenderwells, or i just cut more of my jeep up lol sean knows that my jeep has "gently massaged" wheel wells.

NO bump stops don't limit your travel at all in fact they help your travel by forcing the axle to go farther down than it normally would. all they limit is stuff.

running 33s on my setup I can show you how the rear wheel wells are perfect for them and the fronts just need a little massaging to be the same its really all about backspacing when you are trying to fit tires where they dont belong. I wish i Had pictures of the wheel wells straight on but these ones a friend too of his toy will have to do for now (don't mind the lack of front flex, thats what having 2in lift shocks gets you lol)
Id stay away from trimming the fenders out, unless Id be going with new flares. I like my vehicles pretty "clean," and the cherokee is pretty sharp looking already.

Dont get me wrong, its kind of cool when your tires stick out past the body line, but like I said...I like em clean, and hardly anyone does it right.

^agreed.

I like a clean Jeep. Not one that looks junky and beat up.

p.s. I am NOT willing to get rock rash on my Jeep.

And this is the fine line between form over function.. my things is all about function I don't give a **** what it looks like hell I have more respect for a scratch, and body damage than I do a shiny surface.

But I also look at Cherokees as expendable. when mine is done I simply buy a another sub-thousand dollar one and bolt/weld my stuff to it.

I'm not against cutting fenders or using my rig. I'll just make sure I protect it before I beat it up (lots of armor, lol). I opted for fender flares because I don't like the look of just plain cut fenders.

Yes they are expendable, and yes they are great for beating the crap out of. But I love my vehicles man. I only put one scratch on my red jeep. The dents in the doors were from the PO. I used my rock rails when I needed. I got into plently of trouble, and they saved my butt. Im not really into gashing the body

this is as much trim as I will do. Bumpers lower valance and the front fender near the bumper. Looks lil cleaner to me

I wasnt exactly happy with it after I pulled the flares.
